comment to all of our friends and family following this adventure

You guys are great! Thanks for all of the comments. Your prayers have been answered. Not exactly in every way that we would have liked, but definitely in the most important way. We're sorry that we've kept you waiting or are wearing out your knees, or bringing too many tears to your eyes, or keeping you up at night. Having said that, we're glad that you care for us so much that that is happening. That means so much to us. See you soon. As they say in Russia "Dasvedanya".

Oh you two are funny! Don't you know that there are so many who would be willing to stay up all night, wearing knee pads and saying many prayers for your family? Have a safe trip back!!!

Congratulations!! That is such great news. Too bad the 10 day wait was not waived, but speaking from experience, bringing your Russian child home right at Christmas is really hard. It is sooo overwhelming just coming to this new life, let alone at the most over-stimulating time of the year! I know that you would rather have had to deal with it than wait to bring her home. But maybe that could be the 'Pollyanna' thought you can use while you wait til January.

Praising God with you! I hope you will post pictures later when allowed. I would love to see her.

We are so happy for you and it was especially wonderful to hear that your visits with Dasha went so well. She sounds like a precious girl with a heart full of love for her new family. What a special Christmas gift!
